1. Information Processed by the App
1.1 Calculations stay on your device
Numbers you enter (bill totals, tax and fee amounts, tip percentages, split counts, rounding values) are used only to compute outputs. They are never transmitted anywhere.
1.2 Recent bills
If recent bills are enabled, a short history of your most recent calculations is stored locally on your device so you can bring one back. It is never uploaded, and clearing it or turning the feature off in Settings removes it.
1.3 Camera access for receipt scanning
Receipt scanning is optional and inactive until you tap "Scan Receipt." At that point your device asks for camera permission. The camera frame is analyzed entirely on your device, using on-device text recognition (Apple's Vision framework on iOS and Google's ML Kit on Android), to read the total, tax, and fees printed on the receipt.
No photograph is saved to your photo library or written to storage, and no image or recognized text is transmitted anywhere. The scanned values are shown to you for confirmation and then discarded. Declining camera access simply disables scanning; every other feature continues to work normally.
1.4 No other device permissions
Pitip does not access your contacts, photo library, microphone, location, or advertising ID.
1.5 No accounts, no servers
Pitip does not require you to create an account. No data is collected or transmitted to any server at any time. Pitip makes no network connections of its own; purchases of Pitip Pro are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies.
1.6 No SDKs for analytics, ads, or tracking
The app contains no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks of any kind.
1.7 No third-party data sharing
No data is shared with third parties. No advertising identifiers are used.
2. Purchases and Payments
Pitip is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. All payment processing is handled by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies and terms of service. Bow Echo LLC does not receive or store your payment details.

3. Website Data
3.1 No advertising or tracking cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts.
3.2 Hosting infrastructure logs
Standard hosting infrastructure may log IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and operational purposes. This data is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
3.3 Support email
Emails sent to [email protected] are used solely to respond to and resolve your inquiry. They are not used for marketing or shared with third parties.
4. Data Retention
Because Pitip does not collect bill entries or personal data on any server, there is nothing to retain or delete from our end.
Server infrastructure logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary for security purposes. Support email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your issue.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Because we don't store personal data or bill entries, there is no profile to access, correct, or delete. Your calculations never leave your device.
To request deletion of support email correspondence, email us at [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.
6. Children's Privacy
Pitip is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will address it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
